Mission & Purpose

Our mission is to further the cause of Christ!

The Baptist Ministers' Conference of Boston & Vicinity (BMC) is an organization for the fellowship of Baptist ministers and their churches. Baptist pastors and associate ministers from Boston, Massachusetts and the surrounding communities come together for mutual encouragement, support, training and worship. Our churches gather for combined community events throughout the year for worship and training. Our combined events are open to all. Conference members pastor churches from several Baptist denominations and conference participation is open to pastors and their churches that hold to historic Baptist doctrine. As we fellowship together, we are united around the gospel of Jesus Christ and our mission to lift up the name of Jesus in our communities.

The BMC is admonished to remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life." (2 Cor. 3:6)

We seek to suppress our individual selves that our collective self may be mighty. May we ever seek to respect each other's differences as unique instruments of God fashioned for His specific purposes, and may we ever strive to create the Kingdom of God on earth as He already created it for us in heaven.

"We as Pastor and Ministry should always be approachable, strive to have a clean heart. how can we work on bringing the unsave to Christ.  and least but not last. our talk should line up with our walk."

 The purpose of the Baptist Ministers Conference of Boston & Vicinity (BMC) is to further the cause of Christ by:

• Ministering to Baptist ministers through fellowship, worship, preaching and teaching the Word, support in crisis, education and training, and networking with each other and the total community to enhance the effectiveness of Baptist ministers;

• Organizing the conference to foster the collective strength and growth of the BMC in the total community;

• Ministering to the total community through Christ-like social and political action; and

• Engaging in religious action to uphold the Gospel and to interface with other religious groups on behalf of the conference.
